Once again Swam comes through and provided me a pretty amazing canvas to work on. Shane Bonifay asked Swam to come up with a concept for his 2010 LiquidForce series gear, including wakeboard, boots, and handle. Swam came to me to help with the process.

Swam came back with a 'little fish in a big city' idea that would combine one of his classic urban cityscapes that he draws and paints on canvas with some new inked fish illustrations from his sketch book. That's where I come in. I was utilized to blend the two styles of art and to convert the cityscape from a roughly 3:4 graphic to a 1:3 perspective that could work on the bottom of a wakeboard. We made something we were proud of and then sent it off to LF for their final adjustments and stylings.

In true corporate form, LiquidForce slapped its logo waaay too big on the bottom of the board, but other than that I think it came out pretty cool. The fish on the top is transparent so you can see the structure and materials of the board.
