Rland Movie Premiere Flyer Design

I think that any good flyer has at least one side of it focused on an image or design that grabs the viewer's attention. Too many times flyers have WAY too much text on them, and you dont think twice about dropping it in the trash. I try to design flyers so that someone would want to hang it on their fridge, that's the guideline.
The shot of the wakeskate was taken by Bryan Soderlind. Rland is a 16mm wakeskate film that Bryan Soderlind and myself put together under no sponsors. We had a premiere in Orlando at the Plaza Theatre and these flyers were used to promote the event. The camera on the flyer is actually a scan from the actual spec book for the camera that was used to shoot the entire film, a 1952 Bell+Howell filmo.
